Investigative Committee of Armenia receives petition from Catholicos of All Armenians to lift restrictive measure

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has received a petition from the defense of Garegin II requesting the lifting of a restrictive measure imposed on him.

The Committee stated that the petition will be reviewed within the timeframe established by law.

Earlier, Metropolitan Nikoloz Pachuashvili reported that the Georgian side had sent an invitation to the Supreme Patriarch. However, under the ongoing criminal case against him, the Catholicos is currently prohibited from leaving Armenia.
