IOC confirms figure skaters Adeliia Petrosian and Petr Gumennik eligible for 2026 Olympics

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has approved Russian figure skaters Adeliia Petrosian and Petr Gumennik to participate in the 2026 Olympic Games, which will be held in Italy from February 6 to 22. The announcement was made in a press release published on the organization’s website.

It is reported that the athletes successfully passed the eligibility review conducted by the committee’s admission panel. Their coaches have also received invitations to the Games. Adeliia Petrosian and Petr Gumennik will compete in Italy under neutral status, performing under a neutral flag.
