Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia, Khalil Shirgholami, told journalists that Tehran has set aside its initial concerns regarding the implementation of the Trump Route (TRIPP) after discussions with the Armenian side.
“Given the American stance toward Iran, we had concerns about this matter. However, the issue was discussed with our Armenian colleagues in a very friendly atmosphere,” the diplomat noted.
According to the ambassador, Armenian partners assured Tehran that Armenia would never pose a threat to Iran, which allowed it to reconsider its position on the project.
