Iran’s ambassador to Armenia: We defend the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia

We defend the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani, announced on Friday.

“We will take steps in this regard,” he said.According to Sobhani, Iran has a principled policy to develop relations with Armenia in all directions.

“One of the most important aspects of our policy is the development of relations with neighboring countries. Iran and Armenia had no problems at any level and in any domain. As for the economy, our annual trade is $700 million, but both Iran and Armenia have set themselves the goal of increasing it to up to $3 billion,” Mehdi Sobhani said.
