Iran’s relations with Russia are strategic – Abbas Araghchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi noted that relations between Iran and Russia are of a strategic nature.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that relations with all Caspian region countries are at a high level. “With some of these countries we have built strategic relations,” he added.

“The relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation are a strategic partnership. Last year, the presidents of the two countries signed a 20-year long-term cooperation agreement for strategic partnership. Between us and Russia there is close political, economic, and international exchange,” the Iranian Foreign Minister said.
