Issue of so-called “Zangezur Corridor” was included in agenda of NATO PA, Turkish MP says

Deputy leader of the Turkish Nationalist Movement Party, MP Mevlut Karakaya said that his proposal to open the so-called “Zangezur Corridor” was accepted on the agenda of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

In his text, he mentioned that the opening of a new corridor in the region would have a positive effect on energy security for NATO allies.

According to the Turkish MP, the “Zangezur Corridor” should not be considered only from the point of view of economic or energy interests.

“This corridor also paves the way for Turkic world and Turan,” he said.
