It is not possible to have dialogue on persons held in Baku – Ararat Mirzoyan

The issue of POWs and illegally detained persons, as well as humanitarian issues in general, is an important and painful part of the broader agenda, and it is probably one of the few issues that we cannot have a conversation about at all, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during his briefing in the National Assembly when asked about the efforts of the Foreign Ministry regarding Armenian POWs held in Baku.

“The last tangible action took place within the framework of COP29, and after that, there was certainly talk, but without success. I believe that if we manage to finalize and sign a real agreement and move forward with the delimitation process, we will come to an agreement on the process of unblocking infrastructure, and there will be that real normalization, and opportunities will emerge. We are confident that at least there will be more favorable conditions for resolving these issues,” Mirzoyan said.
