The inauguration of the art gallery of world-reknown marine painter Ivan Aivazovsky will be held in Feodosia on March 14, the Crimean Armenian Society reports on its Telegram channel.

Only media representatives will be able to attend the opening ceremony. Starting from March 15, the gallery will open its doors to everyone.

“We really missed the active work of our museum, so we will gladly welcome all visitors,” says museum director Tatiana Gaiduk.

The Aivazovsky National Art Gallery has been considered the most important attraction in Crimea even since the last century. Every year, crowds of tourists from different parts of the world came here to see with their own eyes the famous seascapes of the great marine painter.

A large exhibition hall, which has been closed for visitors since 2007 due to disrepair, will now be opened for attendees as well.
