Javakhk school celebrates 100th anniversary of Paruyr Sevak

On January 24, the school of the Javakhk village of Abul hosted an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great Armenian poet, translator and literary critic Paruyr Sevak, Jnews.ge reported.

The event was organized by the teacher of Armenian language and literature at the school, Marina Khotsanyan.

High school students presented the biography of Paruyr Sevak and recited famous lines and love poems from his collection ‘The Man on the Shore’.

It should be noted that January 24 marked the 100th anniversary of the brilliant poet.
