Javakhk to celebrate Jivani Day

On June 30, in Kartsakh village of Akhalkalaki municipality, the annual Jivani Day dedicated to the famous Armenian poet of the 19th-early 20th century, musician and ashugh Jivani, will be celebrated once again, jnews. ge reports.

The program of the event features a visit to the house museum of the ashugh, founded by the Support to Javakheti Foundation, as well as a concert.

The event is organized jointly with Akhalkalaki municipality, the Support to Javakheti Foundation and the house museum of ashugh Jivani.

The celebration of Jivani Day traditionally falls on the penultimate Saturday or Sunday of July.
