Jazz singer Lucy Yeghiazaryan releases new album

Armenian jazz singer Lucy Yeghiazaryan has released a new album titled “Beside the Golden Door”, in which she presents both Armenian music (Komitas, Babajanyan, Hakhverdyan, Makaryan) and American music.

According to the singer, she wanted to build bridges between the two musical cultures. In recording the album, the vocalist was assisted by renowned guitarists Peter Bernstein and Eric Zolan.

Yeghiazaryan was born in Armavir, Armenia, but has been living in the United States for more than 20 years.
