Jean Sarkissyan captivates audience and jury on The Voice van Vlaanderen

Lebanese Armenian Jean Sarkissyan gave a brilliant performance of Sting and Cheb Mami’s “Desert Rose” during the blind auditions of The Voice van Vlaanderen in Belgium.

The 22-year-old Armenian won over the audience and jury with his powerful stage presence, heartfelt performance, and incredible voice.

In 2017, Jean took part in The Voice Kids in the Netherlands, but his journey in the project was cut short due to his family’s documentation issues. Before joining The Voice van Vlaanderen, which premiered on Belgian channel VTM on February 13, 2026, he worked at a gas station in Lokeren.
