Donald Trump has won a crushing victory on all fronts, Alpha News presenter and journalist Arthur Sahakyan told Alpha News.

“Today was a historic day for Donald Trump and his party, as they won a crushing victory on almost all fronts, and we can say that the Democrats suffered a crushing defeat today in the presidential race, in the US Senate, US House of Representatives, and governors’ races.

Republicans have achieved success everywhere. At the moment, however, it has not yet been announced whether Donald Trump has won and whether he is the 47th president of the United States, but almost no one doubts this, even Kamala Harris. She, by the way, left the headquarters,” Sahakyan said.

He said that although the counting of votes in all states has not yet been completed, we can already assume that Donald Trump is the 47th President of the United States.

“Donald Trump declared his victory and thanked his team, family, wife, all supporters, and all the people of the United States. There are several other states that still have to count the results, but at the moment it has already been announced that Donald Trump has 267 electoral votes; that is, he needs only 3 votes to be proclaimed president of the United States, and he can easily get these 3 votes because, at the moment, he is winning in a number of states. So, for him, these votes are not a problem, and we can say that the 47th president of the United States is Donald Trump,” Arthur Sahakyan said.

He noted that the judiciary power will also be in Trump’s hands, and the Democrats cannot counter any decision he has made.

“Republicans already have a majority in the Senate. Previously, they did not have a majority. They are projected to retain their positions in the House of Representatives. They need a total of 218 seats to have a majority; at the moment they have 192 seats, and they are projected to gain 218 or more seats in the Senate. This means that he will have both the executive branch and the two chambers of the legislative power in his hands. There are also a number of key points that are unrelated to the election. Republicans also have a majority on the Supreme Court, where 6 justices are Republican candidates.

The Democratic Party will not be able to prevent any program, idea, or project that Donald Trump wishes to implement, unlike in the previous presidential term, when he did not have an opportunity and very often faced opposition from Democrats. This time, it seems that Trump will not have this problem and he will be able to easily implement his projects,” Sahakyan concluded.
