Junior violinist Davit Babayan wins second prize at international music competition

Junior violinist Davit Babayan won the 2nd prize in group B (12-14 years old) of the International Showcase Music Competition in Hamburg, Germany, the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science and Culture reported.

To mark his victory, Davit performed with the New Jersey Sinfonietta orchestra.

Davit is a participant in the gifted young musicians support program, funded by the Ministry.

The program is designed to develop and improve the skills of the most talented young musicians, aged 10-20, and to encourage them to further represent Armenian performing arts worldwide.
