Today, Azerbaijan has taken our 120,000 people hostage, in the truest sense of this word, Karen Bekaryan, head of the Hayatsk analytical center, told Alpha News.

“One of the important stages of the siege was the total blockade, then the problems with gas and electricity supplies, the problems related to water supplies, etc. However, it turned out that all this was not enough, and they started a large-scale attack on Artsakh. History will remember that one-day stubborn struggle of our friends from Artsakh as a unique example of heroism,” Bekaryan said.

He also mentioned that, unlike Artsakh, this day will be remembered as a day of national shame for Armenia.

“Our soldiers on the brink of starvation, having no one by their side, not even Mother Armenia, fought for Artsakh. I am sure that, unlike Artsakh and the people of Artsakh, history will record this day as a day of national shame for Armenia,” Bekaryan said.
