Karina Akopova and Nikita Rakhmanin secure Olympic qualifying bronze in Beijing

Figure skaters Karina Akopova and Nikita Rakhmanin, representing Armenia, claimed third place at the Olympic qualifying event for the 2026 Games held in Beijing.

In the short program, the duo scored 63.85 points with a performance set to “Artsakh”, a musical composition by Armenian composer Ara Gevorgyan.
