It is important for Russia that Armenia’s accession to the International Criminal Court (ICC) de jure and de facto does not negatively affect bilateral relations, said Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“There is nothing to comment on here. This is generally the sovereign right of Armenia. However, it is important for us that such decisions do not affect both de jure and de facto our bilateral relations that we cherish and hope to further develop,” he added.
As reported earlier, Armenia formally joined the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Thursday.
