Kremlin is waiting for Pashinyan to participate in CIS and EAEU meetings in St. Petersburg
Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters that he is waiting for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s arrival at the meetings of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in St. Petersburg in December.
“I believe that (representatives of Armenia – ed.) will come to St. Petersburg. There will be an informal traditional meeting of the leaders of the CIS countries, and there will be a formal meeting of the EAEU. By the way, after us, it is Armenia that becomes the chair of this meeting. So, I think Pashinyan will come to pick up the baton from (Russian President – ed.) Vladimir Putin,” the Kremlin spokesperson said.
