On November 29, the Krikor Satamian Theater troupe will present the “Two Sides of a Portrait” stage play at AGBU in Buenos Aires.

“The main goal is to promote theater in Armenian. The plays are, in a way, an occasion for people to hear the Armenian language,” actress and director Silvia Kalfaian told Diario ARMENIA.

“This time we are presenting a comedy about a dentist’s love affairs. Together with Alisa Khachatrian, we adapted the play by the Armenian Cypriot Harut Tahmazian because it was very long. We always do remakes to adapt it to our needs because we don’t have many male actors, but we do have several female actresses. That’s why we’ve been working on balancing the cast and adjusting some aspects. It is a fun and short play,” she added.
