The Armenian community in the United States helps Armenians who have recently moved there a lot, cultural activist Kristina Oganezz told Alpha News.

“When a person comes to the United States, they experience stress, both domestic and moral. You are trying to start a new life. I would like to note that the Armenian community helps a lot, even strangers, which makes me very happy. One of the first steps after arriving here is to find a job. There are platforms that we use where people are trying to find a job. How quickly you can find a job, depending on experience, knowledge, and education, is different for everyone,” she said.

Kristina Oganezz advises those who are moving to the United States to make sure they have a good command of English, because without knowing the language, anyone will face many problems․

“Knowledge of English is very important. If you want to get into this market, you must know English to be able to negotiate with people. If an artist does not know English, it will be very difficult for them, so I have a manager who helps me in this matter. It is difficult for an artist to create and promote themselves at the same time. Of course, temperament and sociability are also very important. You should attend various events where you can meet different people, make useful acquaintances,” Kristina Oganezz said.
