Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense has announced the crash of several US military aircraft

A ministry spokesperson confirmed that the planes went down this morning, but all crew members were rescued, according to a statement from the Kuwaiti army.

The announcement followed the release of videos in various media outlets showing a fighter jet falling in Kuwait, with pilots successfully ejecting.

The pilots involved in the crashes were hospitalized and are reported to be in stable condition. Kuwait, together with the United States, has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.

Earlier, Iranian state agencies reported that an American fighter jet had been shot down while attempting to violate Iran’s airspace.
