Law enforcement officers detain son and father of Gyumri mayoral candidate

Law enforcement officers have reportedly detained the son and father of Gyumri mayoral candidate Martun Grigoryan. Earlier it was reported that law enforcement officers initiated a search at the election headquarters of Gyumri mayoral candidate Martun Grigoryan representing the Our City bloc.

Since early Thursday morning, criminal police officers have been conducting searches at the apartment of Ara Voskanyan, the head of the headquarters of the Mother Armenia bloc, who is participating in the elections to the Gyumri City Council, as well as the headquarters of the bloc. Emma Grigoryan, a supporter of the bloc, was also detained and interrogated without a lawyer. It was noted that Grigoryan declined the services of a lawyer herself.
