Lawyer Aram Vardevanyan calls repressions against Armenian Church ‘absurd’

Lawyer Aram Vardevanyan, in a conversation with Alpha News, described the repressions against the Armenian Apostolic Church as absurd.

“It is hard to imagine at least one country in Europe where it would be possible to carry out such an operation with the participation of thousands of armed law enforcers. It is absurd. We are obliged to protect the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Srbazan, and the Supreme Patriarch. There is no legal logic in this,” he said.
