Chess. com summarized the prize earnings for the season in professional chess, taking into account only prize money from major tournaments—excluding sponsorship contracts, streaming, and appearance fees. The ranking included 26 chess players who earned more than $100,000 over the season.

Levon Aronian took third place, earning $751,000 from 15 tournaments.

The leader of the ranking was the 16th World Champion Magnus Carlsen, who not only earned $1.455 million from 16 tournaments but also became the only chess player to surpass the million‑dollar mark in a season. Fabiano Caruana was second, earning $889,000 from 19 tournaments.
