Levón Grigorián: International community has betrayed the Armenians of Artsakh

On October 6, Levón Grigorián, representative of the Enterprise Armenia Foundation in Spain, presented the situation in Artsakh during the public hearings held in the Parliament of Catalonia.

Grigorián addressed the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Catalan Parliament as a member of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU).

He briefed on the almost 10-month blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan, the difficult situation for the Armenians living there and the ethnic cleansing that followed, stressing that “the international community has betrayed” the Artsakh Armenians.

Grigorián spoke about the humanitarian crisis in the region, noting that ethnic cleansing “is an insult to human dignity.”
