‘Light cannot be kept in darkness for long’ – Shirak residents on Samvel Karapetyan

During the survey conducted in Shirak, local residents spoke out about the political persecution of businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan.

“Light cannot be kept in darkness for long. Samvel Karapetyan was a light for our country. This is only temporary,” said one of the respondents.

Residents of Shirak consider the philanthropist’s imprisonment unjust.

“It is not fair; he must be released immediately,” another respondent noted.

According to locals, by keeping Samvel Karapetyan under arrest until the elections, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is trying to save himself.

“He is making his last efforts, like a rat leaving a sinking ship, but all the rats together will sink to the bottom,” said one resident.

Another participant added that Karapetyan deserves special treatment, as he is the only one who truly thinks about the people.
