Liturgy held in Paris’ Saint-Sulpice Church to honor Armenian Genocide victims

As part of the events commemorating the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, on April 21, Armenian Ambassador to France Arman Khachatryan and the diplomatic staff of the Armenian Embassy in Paris attended the traditional liturgy honoring the victims of the genocide at Saint-Sulpice Church, the Armenian Embassy in France reports.
The liturgy was led by Bishop Elie (Yéghia) Yéghiayan, Primate of the Armenian Catholic Eparchy of Sainte-Croix-de-Paris, with the participation of Bishop Krikor Khachatryan, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of France; Joël Mikaelian, Primate of the Armenian Evangelical Church of France; Emmanuel Tois, Auxiliary Bishop of Paris and representative of the Catholic Church of France; along with clergy from other churches.
The memorial service was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in France, French public and political figures, members of Franco-Armenian public organizations, followers of the Armenian Catholic Church in France, and hundreds of French believers.
