Lives of injured servicemen not in danger – Armenian Defense Ministry

The lives of the servicemen injured during military exercises on July 8 are not in danger, the Armenian Defense Ministry announced in a statement.

“The soldiers are under medical supervision and receiving the necessary treatment,” the statement said.

Earlier, the Defense Ministry reported that a mortar shell exploded at approximately 4:00 p.m. during exercises at a military training range. An investigation is underway to determine the full circumstances of the incident.
