Lucas Zelarayán joins Armenian national team

Armenian-Argentine footballer Lucas Zelarayán, a midfielder for Club Belgrano and the Armenian national team, arrived at the team’s training camp on September 3.

The player landed in Yerevan on Wednesday morning and has already begun training. Zelarayán did not participate in the previous two international cycles, missing the Nations League matches against Georgia as well as the friendly games against Montenegro and Kosovo in June.

Armenia continues its preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers: the team will host Portugal on September 6 and face Ireland on September 9.
