Macron and Erdogan discuss prospects for peace in South Caucasus

French President Emmanuel Macron announced on X that he had a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Macron highlighted “the hope that has emerged following the meeting between Armenia and Azerbaijan, organized by President Trump on August 8.”

He underscored the importance of preserving the progress made, which could pave the way for reopening all borders and enhancing regional cooperation.
