Malkhas Amoyan, Manvel Khachatryan and Hayk Mnatsakanyan reach semifinals of European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships in Bratislava

Armenian wrestlers Malkhas Amoyan, Hayk Mnatsakanyan and Manvel Khachatryan reached the semifinals of the 2025 European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships in Bratislava.

Amoyan (77 kg) defeated Moldova’s Alexandru Solovei 7-2 to advance to the semifinals of the European Championship, where he will face Bulgaria’s Hayk Mnatsakanyan (77 kg).

Mnatsakanyan defeated Hungary’s Zoltan Levai 6-1.

Manvel Khachatryan (55 kg) defeated Turkey’s Emre Mutlu 9-0. In the semifinals, Khachatryan will face Azerbaijan’s Eldaniz Azizli, a four-time world champion and two-time European champion.
