Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler Malkhas Amoyan (77 kg) has been named among the contenders for the title of Most Dominant Wrestler of 2025 by United World Wrestling (UWW). The nomination is a logical outcome of his brilliant season, which the 25-year-old athlete completed without a single defeat.

After winning a bronze medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, where Amoyan lost only to eventual champion Nao Kusaka of Japan, the athlete did not lose a single bout. In 2025, he claimed gold at the European Championships, the Poland Open, and the World Championships, demonstrating impressive dominance over his rivals.
