Maria Zakharova: Russia is alarmed by the ultimatum and sometimes insulting rhetoric of the Armenian authorities

We have never questioned the sovereign right of any state to determine its foreign policy; however, the continuation of Armenia’s current policy may cause irreparable damage to the allied relations between Moscow and Yerevan, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a press briefing on Wednesday.

“This fully applies to the CSTO as well, since the CSTO is the countries, states, and people who have been forming for decades the very security that ensured peace and stability on the vast territory,” Zakharova noted.
