Maria Zakharova: The actions of the Armenian authorities contradict everything they promised before the elections

The decision-making process in Armenia does not take into account public opinion, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Sputnik radio.

“Decisions are being made that are of national importance not only today, but also in the history of the nation. They (the authorities – ed.) make these decisions without relying on public opinion, without relying on the results of the plebiscite,” Zakharova said, referring to the situation in Armenia.

She added that “the final actions of the Armenian authorities contradict everything they promised before the elections.”
