Armenian MP Martun Grigoryan, who led the Our City bloc in the March 30 snap elections to the Gyumri City Council, submitted an application to the District Election Commission No. 31 to withdraw from his mandate as a council member, Armenian Central Election Commission spokesperson Seda Ghukasyan told Panorama. am.

According to her, others have also submitted similar withdrawal applications.

As previously reported, the mandates in the newly elected Gyumri City Council will be distributed as follows: Civil Contract – 14 mandates, Communist Party – 8 mandates, Our City – 6 mandates, My Strong Community – 3 mandates, and Mother Armenia – 2 mandates.

The first session of Gyumri City Council will be held on April 16, the Council has 33 mandates. The head of the community will be elected by a majority vote, requiring at least 17 out of 33 votes.
