The music of composer Tigran Papazyan, a self-taught from Petropavl, Kazakhstan, was featured in the trailers of such famous movies as ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’, ‘Rampage’ and ‘Sonic the Hedhehog’. And now the composer has written music for Marvel Studios’ ‘What If …?’.

As Papazyan noted, the soundtrack was written in 2019, but it was released only now.

The trailer racked up 4.8 million views on YouTube within its first 24 hours.

‘What If …?’ is based on the Marvel comics series of the same name. The series explores alternate timelines in the multiverse that show what would happen if major moments from the MCU films occurred differently. The series is very popular among fans of the media franchise.

Papazyan is 33 years old. He has been making music for 20 years. His debut as a composer took place in 2016 in the historical drama ‘Matilda’. Since then, the composer has been writing music for a number of big projects.

“Writing music is a complex job. It is equally creative and analytical. You need not only to write a cool song but also to make it universal. The more convenient your song is, the greater the chance that it will be used,” Papazyan noted.
