Matthew Miller: It is in the interests of the broader world that Armenia and Azerbaijan reach a peace agreement

The United States thinks it is in the interests of the broader world that Armenia and Azerbaijan reach a peace agreement, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said at a press briefing on Thursday.

“We continue to think that it is in the interests of the two parties, it is interest in the region – it is in the interests of the region, and it is in the interests of the broader world that those two parties reach a peace agreement, and we’ll continue to push it,” he said.
