“The situation in Artsakh now is a disgrace for the European Union and for international community. It’s a crime against humanity and we have to take actions now,” Loucas Fourlas, Chair of the Friendship group with Armenia in the European Parliament, said in an interview with Alpha News.

“No more words, we need actions. The double standard policy of the European Union has to stop now. Our Armenian brothers have to know that they are not alone. We join our voices with theirs,” the MEP said.

According to him, it is expected that the resolution will be strong, but it is unlikely that it will affect Aliyev and Erdogan. “I am not sure that Aliyev or Erdogan understand these resolutions. Sanctions are the only language they will understand, and nothing else. The resolution will be very strong, but it is not enough. We have to stop the aggression of Azerbaijan now. We don’t have any time. 120,000 refugees fled to from Artsakh Armenia to save their lives. We did so many things for Ukrainians, what about Armenians? We did nothing. That’s why I said that it is a shame for the European Union and we have to act now,” he said.
