Mher Grigoryan welcomes Aliyev’s statement on lifting cargo transit restrictions

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated that he welcomes the announcement made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev regarding the lifting of restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia.

In response to a question from Armenpress, Grigoryan praised the efforts of his Azerbaijani and Kazakhstani counterparts and the work they have done in this direction.

“Of course, I am pleased and welcome the decision of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to lift restrictions on cargo transportation to Armenia. This step is significant for opening regional communications, strengthening mutual trust, and advancing the peace agenda. I deeply appreciate the efforts of my Azerbaijani and Kazakhstani colleagues and the work they have done in this direction,” he said.

Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the press secretary of the Armenian Prime Minister, also issued a statement welcoming the Azerbaijani President’s announcement.
