Milan’s Assab One hosts exhibition of Armenian sculptor Mikayel Ohanjanyan

Milan’s Assab One is hosting an exhibition of works by famous Armenian sculptor Mikayel Ohanjanyan these days. The exhibition features the master’s conceptual works created from marble, basalt, steel, and other materials.

Ohanjanyan has participated in many international exhibitions, including the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015, where the Pavilion of Armenia, to which he contributed, won the Golden Lion. In 2018, his work The Threshold is the Source won the Enrico Marinelli International Contemporary Art Award. The master’s installations have been exhibited at Florence’s Opera del Duomo Museum, Regents Park in London, and Petit Palais in Paris.

The exhibition is on view from September 27 to November 8.
