Ministry of Health: DNA examination of the blast victims in Artsakh continues, 44 patients transported to Armenia have died

The forensic examination of the victims of the blast at the fuel depot in Artsakh, which occurred on September 25, continues, Mariam Tsatryan, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Health of Armenia, told Aysor. am.
“The preliminary investigation is underway, so I cannot provide specific data. I will only say that the forensic examination continues,” she said, adding that there are cases of identification and the remains of the victims are transferred to relatives.
Tsatryan noted that, as of November 15, the number of people displaced from Artsakh to Armenia who receive treatment in various medical centers of the capital reached 87.
“The condition of eight individuals is serious, two of them are in critical condition. 19 patients continue to undergo treatment in various specialized clinics abroad. We are in regular contact with specialists, and we have positive news on this part. There is a noticeable positive dynamic in their health,” she said.
Tsatryan added that 44 deaths have been registered on the way to Armenia, both by air and land. Most of the deaths occurred as a result of burns from the blast.
