Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, speaking during a government Q&A session in parliament, said that claims of foreign interference are political manipulations.

“Unfortunately, such manipulations have become part of everyday political life. I believe they will continue to be an element of it for at least the next five to six months, if not longer,” noted the Foreign Minister, responding to a question about opposition interpretations.

Commenting on EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas’s statement about allocating €12 million to Armenia to prevent external interference ahead of parliamentary elections, Mirzoyan stressed that this should be regarded as support for democratic processes in the country from the EU.

It should be noted that recently Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a press conference: “We see that Pashinyan is currently leading in public opinion polls. We truly support the constructive role he is playing. This line and this will must continue.”
