Mirzoyan on what could be key to peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan

Speaking at the Orbeli Forum 2025, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated that the guarantee of peace with Azerbaijan should be the mutual benefits derived from both existing and future agreements—not only for Armenia and Azerbaijan, but also for other countries in the region.
“It is precisely this mutual benefit that, I am convinced, will give strength and longevity to the peace agreement that will be signed, as well as to the declaration already in place. Armenia will have no interest in violating these agreements, nor will Azerbaijan. Likewise, Turkey—just as all the other countries—will have no interest in disrupting this process,” he said.
