Mirzoyan presents Armenia’s foreign policy vision amid new realities

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan took part in a meeting of Armenian ambassadors held in Kapan, the country’s foreign ministry reports. Mirzoyan addressed the agreements reached at the August 8 discussions in Washington.
“Speaking about the initialed agreement between Yerevan and Baku, the minister underscored the importance of establishing peace for Armenia and the region. He presented Armenia’s foreign policy vision in light of newly emerging realities, highlighting the new opportunities and the efforts required to seize them. Mirzoyan stressed that the consistent implementation of the regional peace agenda and the creation of a stable, secure, and prosperous environment for the citizens of the Republic of Armenia remain top priorities for the Armenian government, including its diplomatic service.
He addressed the opportunities arising from the unblocking of regional communications, Armenia’s efforts to effectively engage in the expanding network of international communication channels, and the upcoming work to implement the trilateral declaration signed in Washington for this purpose,” the ministry’s statement reads.
