Mirzoyan says Aliyev “did not have time” to meet with Pashinyan

During a joint press conference with Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev did not have time to meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“Obviously, it is the President of Azerbaijan who did not have the time, because we are ready to participate in that meeting now. I hope that the problem was indeed the timeframes, and soon it will be possible to agree on a new date.

Armenia is ready to participate in that meeting. We remain committed to the peace agenda,” Mirzoyan said.
