Missak Manouchian to be reburied in Paris Panthéon on February 21, 2024

80 years ago today, the poet and hero of the French Resistance, Missak Manouchian, was arrested at the Évry station, and then he was shot along with his 22 brothers in arms, French Culture Minister Rima Abdul Malak said in a post on X.

“He will be the first foreign and communist resistance fighter buried in the Panthéon. The ceremony will take place on February 21, 2024,” she added.
