Missile strike hits Armenian quarter in Tehran

A residential building in the old Armenian neighborhood of Majidieh was targeted by an American-Israeli strike, the Embassy of Iran in Armenia reported.

No fatalities have been reported so far. However, some residents remain trapped under the rubble, and there are unconfirmed reports of a child being injured.

The embassy noted that Majidieh is one of Tehran’s historic Armenian quarters, known for its vibrant community life and infrastructure. Iranian Armenians played a significant role in the development and growth of the district.
