The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MoESCS) of Armenia is actively working on the matter of preservation of the Armenian cultural heritage of the Republic of Artsakh, Minister Zhanna Andreasyan said at the year-end press conference on Wednesday.

“We have a whole action plan together with the colleagues from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the protection of the remaining cultural heritage in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh,” she said.

According to Andreasyan, the tangible and intangible Armenian cultural heritage remaining in Artsakh has been inventoried, and there is a complete database.

She noted that the cases of vandalism are reported to “all possible international partners” and information on cultural heritage is actively disseminated through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
