Monika Arzumian wins WKF World Karate Championship in Venice

France’s Monika Arzumian became the world champion at the U21 WKF World Karate Championship in Venice, Italy.

She defeated six opponents in the 59 kg category.

Arzumian won gold in the Kumite category, defeating Kazakhstan’s Gulnur Koishibaeva 6-2 in the final.
