On July 18, 2025, a monument honoring the prominent Armenian-born singer Charles Aznavour will be unveiled in Yerevan. The ceremony will take place at 11:00 am in France Square, in the heart of the Armenian capital. It marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Charles Aznavour, the legendary singer, composer and actor, whose work united Armenian soul and French elegance.

The author of the sculpture is David Minasyan, the winner of the open competition organized by Yerevan Municipality. It is currently being cast in Gyumri and is scheduled for installation on July 16, just two days before the unveiling.

Guests from France, including representatives from the Ile-de-France region and Paris, are expected to attend the unveiling ceremony.
